I have just released version 1.1.0 of my VST3 plugin Tumult for Linux and Windows. New features include custom sample import, 50 more noises from my Noise Plethora sample pack and numerous improvements and fixes.

Reaper is every bit as popular as Bitwig and Ardour, and possibly more so in the Linux realm. I have doubts that metrics from just those two developers would give a clear enough picture as to the number of linux users. There are probably 20 DAWs available in the Linux world.
Along with the little oddball DAWs, there are big names, like Presonus, Bitwig, Harrison, and Cockos. Here is a list of just the most popular ones:
Mixxx Stable 2.5.1 Released!
Thanks to your feedback, this release contains a lot of improvements, fixes, new and improved controller-mappings. We would like to emphasize the importance of testing new versions. You don't have to be a programmer to contribute to Mixxx. Translating, testing new features and checking for possible regression is just as important.
It is recommended that all users update to this new version.

When mouse hovers over a plugin/app, an edit icon appears in the upper left corner. Press this takes you to a page where you can suggest edits to the data.
In the burger menu there is now a new item [Add plugin/app] which takes you to a page where you can suggest new plugins/apps.
