VST is pretty much a standard for DAW plugins that works cross-platform. I have used VST plugins on Ardour for Windows and Ubuntu Studio; and Reaper for Windows and MacOS.

@Edent LLMs produce the most likely next token, continually. The ‘most likely’ part is the median response across the training data. In other words, LLMs reproduce mediocrity. Huge numbers of people have below average knowledge of any particular subject though.

I gave up watching documentaries for similar reasons: you only need to watch one on your specialist subject to understand the level of accuracy that applies across the genre.

@revk A friend was scared shitless recently by a letter telling them the date of their cancer surgery. They did not have cancer. The local trust had booked the appointment just in case their recent scan was positive. Which it wasn't. But the trust neglected to tell them they were fine until a week after the letter arrived...

By all means book the appointment, but FFS don't tell someone you've done that until after they've been seen by a consultant!
