@vwbusguy She's crunchy for sure (still have the lipstick pickup kicking around for another project). I'm actually surprised how "Tele-like" it sounds when I split the humbuckers. I'm not playing a lot of Jerry Reed or Waylon Jennings, so it's okay if it's not perfect.

@vwbusguy Is option #1 supposed to be coil splitting humbuckers? AFAIK, you only tap a single coil.

I did just that - installed splittable humbuckers into my Telecaster, so I can run them akin to single coils when I want, but 99% of the time, I'm chugging with all coils firing....

Today is #InternationalCrowAndRavenAppreciationDay. In the city I live in, I find that they and their cousins (magpies and jays), lean slightly to the obnoxious side; however, I know how intelligent these birds can be, and they definitely have my respect. This Common Raven I came across in the mountains was particularly handsome.
