Never forget that in 2018 it turned out at Twitter "passwords were written to an internal log before completing the hashing process". Real easy accident. Just takes somebody accidentally printf()ing the HTTP post body sometime before the login code gets called.

Now if it could happen by accident and go unnoticed for years, imagine how easy it is to pay someone to ADD that "accidental" printf()
