I work a lot with #synth #bass but I love the #electric bass #guitar the most. In many times the bass track in my songs is initially recorded with bass guitar and then maybe re-recorded with a synth. Occasionally I go back and re-record the synth bass with bass guitar. Going back and forth like this gives me new #ideas because these #instruments lean towards different way of #thinking and #composing.

10.52 update on my #Haken #audio #Continuumini went well even on mac and the new #editor is rock solid (at least from the first 2AM test). Did not test any new features but got excited from the possibilities to work with this instrument again. I have to admit it has been rather under-used for couple of years but this will change now. There are several projects in the planning for using Continuumini both in the mix and a solo instrument (with #Analog #Heat and maybe some #FX #pedal?).

On the same note, the new #Doepfer #ribbon #controller A-198-2 now sends out also #MIDI. How cool is that. It's great to see #eurorack manufacturers embracing more MIDI. This is how everybody is winning. CV and gate for modular instruments and MIDI for everything else in the studio.
