I would kill for a *great* #emacs <-> #confluence workflow - with all the bell and whistles it would entail. Full integration. With, or without org.

Is it even possible? I never looked deply into confluence's documentation.

@zrzz maybe tracking the current project would help with it. This also happen on python when visiting a library symbol but in this case the visiting symbol is not part of a project so it might be relay on the last project.

@hajovonta Nice! But I guess it does not solve the case where root access by ssh is not available.

In my case is my user that have ssh access and it is in sudoers. Works nicely to me.

In helping others with de-googling, I wonder what to recommend in order to escape the technoligarchy.

Emacs carries a lot of harmful, mythical baggage that creates defeatism even for developers.

But its capabilities are endless.
I can write music, a book, code, or a blog, and publish them how I like.
I move easily between sources, email, code, blogs, news, websites, pdfs, epubs and images. I have a consistent interface and editor personally modified for my own ease and comfort.
Emacs is a viable choice for enhanced productivity.
