First "walking" test of a light rail car on the I-90 floating bridge. It _may_ be the first train on tracks across _any_ floating bridge, but that's just something I heard not something I know.

There will be a _lot_ more tests, and no doubt more rounds of changes and adjustments and all that, BUT

I didn’t realize it was National Train Day, but it was a great day for a Cascade Bicycle Club group ride to visit every light rail station on Sound Transit’s 2 Line now that it’s in operation! We were even able to use a couple of recently opened bike connections, too

Took the new #lightrail #2line yesterday! Short trip, #bellevue to Spring, but it's really nice! I honestly won't get a lot of use out of this portion of it, but still very glad eastsiders can use it now! Will look forward to riding more when the I90 bridge is done! #transit #seattle

The #2line opening was a blast! We skipped the opening ceremony to ride the first train from South Bellevue. I’ve updated the #seattle Link map to display the real time vehicle locations for the 2 Line.
