Redmond High School is on lockdown because of police activity around the school.
People are being told that kids are safe and not to come to the school.
Kids are not allowed to use phones. One kid texted their mom that they are safe in classrooms.

An employee of Hash Tag Cannabis in Redmond, WA was recently seen assaulting a panhandler by spraying them with a fire extinguisher.
Local democratic and Republican leaders have frequently expressed hatred of the homeless and poor. It's critical people boycott businesses like Hash Tag Cannabis for condoning this inhumane behavior.

We are having power "blink" outages in #RedmondWA #WAWX #USA, I believe because of an approaching thunderstorm system. The T-storms are not yet here, but they seem to be messing with the power grid. The blinks are brief - less than a second each - and tend to come in pairs or triplets. #Thanks to the people working to remedy the power system, especially the line workers. Note: other areas of Redmond, #Bellevue, and #Woodinville may be having full-on outages.
Stopped by Lake Bill today on the Microsoft campus. The first pic is what I remember of it from the late 90s. The second pic is from today. This tiny oasis is legendary and was at the heart of the old campus.
