Installed the #4060Ti 16GB last night. Had to reboot once and switch the rendering in #Blender back and forth once or twice to get it to “take” the new video card. Rendering performance is more than double previous card (2060 6GB).

Tried Portal RTX. It was not that great. The AI assisted enhancements looked like ass - it has that iconic ugly “AI look” to it. #Satisfactory looked gorgeous.

With the reveal of the #AMD #Radeon #RX7600 & nV's #4060Ti I'm pretty sure this gen will go down as one of the worst.. Not because of the architectures, they are pretty solid, I'm a little let down by #RDNA3, it still does it's job and nVidia's #ada is a very good step compared to #ampere. No what makes it seem terrible is the pricing, and the push to serve the market with lower and lower end SKU's and tell you it's amazing.. My 6700 XT is going to die of old age before I upgrade at this rate!
