AMD Strix Halo is insane. Never thought I'd have a tablet with 16 full Zen5 cores (no mobile nonsense here), 64GB DDR5-8000 RAM, and a 40CU Radeon iGPU that is about equal to PS5 Pro performance. Sheesh.

Of course, first thing I did was pull the NVMe, image it, and then clone my main desktop Win10 on it. Sadly, Win10 doesn't support NPUs, WiFi7 or unified memory. So I "upgraded" to Win11, and then applied my de-enshittification procedures (https://peertube.wtf/w/pqMrXFbzpJAS4r5NRj5o8j) and ta-da!

Since my old #TV is dying I am looking for a new #television this black friday. I am currently doing a final check for some of the most interesting offers. And one thing I noticed only now is that apparently #Hisense #65U8Q has a #DisplayPort input 😍 Not mentioned in specs on the product page or on DisplaySpecifications web page. Just shown on one photo, and I found a YT video testing it. Looks like an awesome TV for a #Linux PC with #AMD #Radeon GPU ( #HDMI Forum does not allow 2.1 support).

Especially #Stalker2 runs within acceptable parameters on the 9060. I think i can get away with the more affordable option.

Now i have to choose which model i want:
👉 tripple fans might run quieter
👉 2x DP = more adaptive sync monitors in #Linux
👉 Honeywell PTM7950
👉 product name without religious terms
