This is a speed that my current 4G provider is giving no selling me

That same provider still sells XDSL as a viable internet service with obsolete equipment that you cannot buy anywhere anymore

they are nuts

They also have 5G, however I haven't gotten myself a 5G SIM card based router yet

• I.e. not only are providers banned from listing designated crisis helplines`(that are 0800 numbers) but if police try to query call records from someone with *"confidentiality privilegues" like lawyer, psychologist, doctor, psychatrist, notary, rehab clinic, addiction help center, etc. they get a BIG ASS RED WARNING BOX when they check for that number that said line is subject to said privilegues and that they cannot monitor it without warrant and have to file that with the request.
  • So even if they ever looked up why half a dozen devices are there, they'd quickly came to the conclusion that you are a known bona fide user and the other devices are too.

Tho for most stochastic surveillance the number of SIMs and devices isn't that high that you'd cause suspicion, given a lot of #IoT garbage has at least a #4G or #5G - modem in it to send telemetry and that 7 devices can also be assumed 1 fro the #eCall of the car and 3 people with 1 #DualSIM phone or a regular phone + laptop with WWAN modem each.

@Xtreix well, @GrapheneOS chose their requirements and they can happily design their own platform instead.

• I just think that their stubbornness makes them look like Stallmanist extremists to the point of being unbearable cringe and completely loosing the plot.
  • They are the antithesis to #Tails when it comes to #UserFriendly-ness and approachability for #Normies and #TechIlliterates.

To the point that it's cheaper to go black/red and teach that to people, even at the risk of inconvenience.

• I mean, in many juristictions one will have to do so anyway, but that's not tue point here…

I think #GrapheneOS prefer to "die on their hill" of "moral superiority" than fave the reality that 99% of people can't and won't blow $500 - $1000+ on a phone when any half-decent Netbook with @tails_live , @torproject and #4G or #5G modem can do the same.

• Espechally since the problems woth #MobilePhones and the underlying technology ain't fixable with an #Android-ROM.
  • Instead we need to foster a #SecurityCulture and proper #ITsec, #InfoSec, #OpSec & #ComSec.

• Deshalb hat #Australien auch faktisch alle Import-Geräte ausgesperrt weil der #Notruf (dort 000) bei quasi allen Telefonen auf #2G / #3G - Telefonie umschaltet und daher nicht funktioniert, weil die dort alles außer #4G & #5G abgeschaltet haben!

Wer also nach "Down Under" will muss sich dort erstmal nen Telefon Vor-Ort kaufen was ohne Aifenthaltstitel wegen "#KYC" - Bullshit nicht möglich ist!

No #PPPoE, no #CDC #ACM; everything gets #NAT ted through ZTE's proprietary #firmware and forwarding plane, so it is not suitable for use with #OPNsense other than as an emergency backup. Fortunately, its default IPv4 assignment didn't clash with my home #LAN, unlike the knockoff pretending to be a #Huawei part which arrived earlier this week.
