Ich bin gerade auf Delta Chat gestoßen. Ein Chat, der einfach über das E-Mail-Protokoll funktioniert. Das ist superclever. E-Mail gibt es überall und man kann sie nicht einfach abschalten.

Ich hatte z.B. sofort mit der kubanischen und iranischen Community zu tun. Das ist nicht die Opposition dort, sondern Leute, die chatten wollen, ohne dass der große Bruder in den USA mitliest.

Aber auch für Familien ist das gut. Wenn du ein Kind hast, aber das nicht in die kranke Welt von WhatsApp und Telegram schicken willst. Bei Delta Chat kann man nicht angeschrieben werden oder in Gruppen eingeladen. Du musst die Person wirklich getroffen haben. (Es sei denn, du machst es wie ich und veröffentlichst deine Kontakte. Das ist ja nur zu Testzwecken.)

Between all the spam mails I receive there is a category of those that at least have their message's headers to match the message content, usually with an inquiry for some materials or a product catalogue from me as a potential vendor of something.

If that's not an initial step for some type of a scam or fraud, what'd be the point of that for a legitimate business to send requests to a random address collected over the Internet?

ScreenConnect Attack: SmartScreen Bypass and RMM Abuse

An attack campaign targeting organizations in the US, Canada, UK, and Northern Ireland exploits ConnectWise ScreenConnect vulnerabilities. The attack chain begins with a spoofed email containing a malicious .cmd attachment, which executes silently, escalates privileges, disables Windows SmartScreen, and removes the Mark-of-the-Web. It then installs a legitimate Remote Monitoring and Management tool, ScreenConnect, which is abused as a Remote Access Trojan for persistent command-and-control access. The campaign focuses on sectors with high-value data, including government, healthcare, and logistics. The attackers use various techniques to evade detection, including UAC bypass, registry modification, and silent MSI installation. The ScreenConnect client used has a revoked certificate, highlighting the importance of blocking vulnerable software versions and enforcing strict RMM allowlists.

Generell funktioniert das, ABER habe ich 2 Outlook Anbindungen auf verschiedenen Geräten, und verschiebe eine Email in einen anderen Ordner wird das oftmals nicht übermittelt.
