I honestly wish there was a #Blind accessible accounting course. I know there are blind accountants and its a field that's possible to be in and do well, but learning how to use Quickbooks is a major pain when you don't know what you're doing and there's nobody to teach you how to use the programs you need for the job. #Accounting, #Accountants, #Jobs, #Employment, #Disability

Should you trust accountants?

Well it seems the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants doesn't trust (with reason) aspirant accountants.

From March it is ending online exams to become an accountant, reverting to the pre-Covid practice of in-person exams (and invigilation) in March in response to a series of scandals about cheating & the use fo AI-assistance in its professional exams.

So much for professionalism!

I'd like to know how to make 4 documents and credit and debit each, statement of financial position, Income statements, Statement of cashflows, and invoices. It would really help because I'm #Blind and Excel is very #Accessible with #ScreenReaders, and I would love to get back into accounting if at all possible, as it was my favorite subject in College and if I could gain employment in that field, I'd gladly do it again.
