Authorea is a very cool service for writing scientific papers, but I had to edit the latex files they produce and God, it's terrible.

I really want to switch from #googledocs to #authorea when putting together a manuscript, but lately #authorea has been very unstable, mainly in terms of not showing figures properly. It's too bad, since I think it is far superior for academic writing.
#PublicationManagement in the #OnePersonLibrary
In our discipline, #preprint publications are on the rise.
We are currently trying to track how our institute members publish what, when and where.
For example, on #arxiv servers, but also in collaborative writing platforms such as #authorea.
There are also journals like elife that require a preprint for #OpenPeerReview procedures.
Research in #openAlex, #Zenodo, #ResearchGate, #ORCID profiles etc..

Recherchen in #openAlex, #Zenodo, #ResearchGate, #ORCID-Profilen etc..

[#OpenScience] It always feels great to practice #openscience and #collaborative tools w/ students!
This afternoon, in Stéphane Joost's #epfl master level course, the program included publishing #researchdata on #zenodo, collaborative writing w/ #authorea and #zotero!
