What are Trust Markers? #ORCID records ⬆️ trustworthiness over time from data asserted by validated sources, such as affiliations added by:
✅ research institutions
✅ grant data from funding agencies, and
✅ works by publishers
When our members + data to ORCID records, they contribute valuable info that gets added to the 🌍 research ecosystem. Each piece of data is a Trust Marker, which is marked with the a green check and origins of that data.

Bei #X wurde kritisiert, dass die Verifizierung von Accounts intransparent ist. Bei #Mastodon ist das alles ganz klar. Ich habe einen grünen Haken.

Aber ganz im Ernst: Die Mastodon-Lösung finde ich ganz gut. Man kann von Accounts, die man kontrolliert zurücklinken. Kopplung mit #ORCID wäre schick. Das habe ich irgendwie nicht hinbekommen.

Lisa: I'm a librarian. People can learn anything from a book! But that doesn't mean it's the best, most efficient way for people to learn things. And so I think Ai literacy is a great thing for universities to be working with students on right now.
