28 Systems architects from all #NFDI consortia, two highly productive days at @gwdg in #Göttingen, one shared goal: To make all NFDI services interoperable by an overall architecture. Today, #DSgG2025 in Karlsruhe and #FDMatCampus in Göttingen shared a session via live streaming. First, my talk about the #rdmHelpdeskNetwork was streamed from KA to GÖ, and then Melina Jander’s talk about #base4nfdi was streamed from GÖ to KA. Subsequently, in a shared Q&A session, both audiences asked questions to both speakers. Many thanks to the organisers of #DSgG2025 and #FDMatCampus for making this great event possible.
We are pleased to announce today's start of the Integration Phase of the Jupyter4NFDI basic service project under the umbrella of #Base4NFDI. Apart from scaling up the Jupyter service itself, this two year phase is devoted to establish new and intensify existing connections to other basic services, disciplinary consortia, resource providers and end users. Inspired by #IAM4NFDI, these connections will be implemented by incubator projects. Watch out for upcoming calls!

While the job ad is in German for bureaucratic reasons, the job does not require knowledge of German - English is sufficient. In terms of programming languages, #Python is essential and any other (especially #R, #Julia) a plus.
Full week of presentations, posters and workshops last week at #CoRDI2025 and the 2nd User Conference 4 #Base4NFDI – still considering the implications for the next phases of our joint infrastructure developments. Met a lot of #NFDI collaborators from across the NFDI Consortia and Sections and had the pleasure of presenting alongside colleagues from @nfdi4culture @nfdi4objects @NFDI4DS and more. Grateful for the opportunity to represent @tibhannover and the amazing work of my colleagues at the @tibosl.

Some of us look ahead to participate in the #Base4NFDI user conference. Others drive home reaffirmed once more in our enthusiasm to embrace FAIR data & tackle challenges for our community.
Perfect start of #UC4B2025, co-located with #CoRDI2025 at #RWTHAachen: An insightful panel discussion with renowned international experts Carole Goble, Hilary Hanahoe, Rosie Hicks, and Mark van de Sanden, moderated by Sonja Schimmler (@sonjas0815) and Raphael Ritz about the question “How to build sustainable infrastructures - lessons learned and future perspectives”. And to round it up - a beautiful rainbow 🌈 ! I am pumped for day 2.

If you are interested in #ontology or #terminology integration to web services you could have a look into our demo presentation about the #Terminology Service Suite (TSS). We integrated there two widgets of the TSS to a data repository and created in this way a #semantic search engine and #FAIRdata

@nfdi4bioimage data steward Conni Wetzker explored and acquired 'Skills and Strategies for RDM Professionals' in a workshop organized by Sandra Zänkert (@ZBMED) and Antje Manske (@GESIS) with fruitful discussions on topics of the data stewardship universe.
The two-day workshop in Jena was supported by @konsortswd – NFDI4Society and #Base4NFDI.
