Phil Connors, un cínico meteorólogo de televisión, viaja a Punxsutawney (Pensilvania) para cubrir el Día de la Marmota. Al principio aprovecha la situación para satisfacer sus deseos egoístas, pero con el tiempo cae en la desesperación y, finalmente, emprende un camino de automejora y redención.

Es una de las comedias más brillantes e influyentes de los 90, con un guion ingenioso que combina humor absurdo con reflexiones profundas sobre la vida, el cambio personal y el amor. La interpretación de Bill Murray es legendaria: pasa de la arrogancia a la vulnerabilidad con maestría. Una película divertida, emotiva y atemporal que mejora con cada visionado.
