Все линии имеют симметрию относительно вертикальной оси. Получившаяся сумма линий была вырезана из листа кортеновской стали толщиной 3 мм (на картинке кажется, что лист стали был толще). Композиция тяготеет к тому, чтобы быть вписанной в квадрат с немного выпуклыми сторонами. Получившаяся скульптура имеет золотисто-ржавый цвет. // Several curves superimposed on each other, reminiscent of a section of the human skeleton at different heights in the pelvic area, but not limited to this. All lines are symmetrical about the vertical axis. The resulting sum of lines was cut from a sheet of 3 mm thick Corten steel (in the picture it looks like the sheet of steel was thicker). Just shipped these babies to the Clay Center of New Orleans. I'm super excited to be one of the artists chosen by juror Courtney Mattison to showcase my work in the "Ripple Effect" exhibit opening April 19th.

The two pieces I will be showing are sculpted out of white stoneware clay and glazed a lovely bronze color that changes depending on the lighting.
