A SuperScooper water bomber plane in LA to combat the wildfires was grounded after being his by a drone.
“The incident downed all aircraft fighting the fire for nearly half an hour on Thursday while officials made sure the skies were clear…”
There is a sizeable hole in the plane’s wing from the drone collision.
Those are not delicate aircraft. Which makes one wonder about the size and type of drone as well as its speed at the time of collision.
