This is how the Apple Cinema Display 23 responded when I tried to overclock its refresh rate. I knew it wouldn't work, but I still wanted to try using:

cvt 1920 1200 61.

I also tried 75 Hz, but the display turned off.

Päivän laulutunti ja -treeni tehty. Alkaa hiljalleen olla aavistus siitä, mitä on tekemässä – ainakin ajoittain. Nimittäin kurkku ja leuka ei enää niinkään kipeydy, vaan vatsa- ja selkälihakset.

Aloitettiin tuon puoliskoni @Turre n kanssa laulutunnit. Laulettu on jo pitkään kotikaraokemoodissa, Turre muutenkin, mutta minäkin nyt sitten rohkaistuin.

Tammikuun tuntien ajan olen hinkannut Heartin Alonea. Työ toki jatkuu, mutta biisejä voi vaihdellakin, kun pointtina ei ole osata esittää juuri Alonea, vaan ylipäätään laulaa. Näillä näkymin uudeksi hinkattavaksi lähtee Bruce Dickinsonin Tears of the Dragon.

Laulaminen on hirmu kivaa, mutta monimutkaista hommaa! Kauheasti pitää miettiä kaikenlaista! Opiskellaan CVT-metodilla, joka on kyllä mielenkiintoinen ja ennen kaikkea järkeenkäyvä.

Nyt sitten pitäisikin koostaa ihan uusin silmin uusi harjoituskappalelista muistiin. Tänään testasin ensimmäistä kertaa selvin päin Judas Priestin A Touch of Evilia. Oli kiva! Sitä on tullut laulettua kännissä aiemminkin, mutta oma lauluharrastus uhkasi hyytyä reilu viisi vuotta sitten muutenkin, kun korkki meni kiinni pysyvästi. Nyt koko jutun on melkein joutunut opettelemaan alusta uudestaan. Veikkaan kyllä, että lopputulos on parempi näin...

Ultimatum huipputavoite on osata laulaa Arch Enemyn First Day in Hell ja Nightwishin Ghost Love Score kuta kuinkin kelvollisesti sitten joskus.

Late fall and another above average temp day. So loaded up the bike and rode the Cannon Valley Trail #CVT. Wonderful fall day along the river on one of the nicest rail-to-trails in Minnesota #MNastodon. Stopped for a snack in Red Wing before heading back.
