One of my older artworks, from 2005. You could say that it is a fan artwork. "Dance in the Dream Factory" is based on Auguste Renoir's famous painting "Le Moulin de la Galette" and depicts characters from all sorts of movies (like "Titanic", Cyrano de Bergerac", "The English Patient", "Forrest Gump", "Pirates of the carribean", "Moulin Rouge", "Star Wars", "Pretty Woman" and others)

About the title: "Dream Factory" refers to the German "Traumfabrik", which often is used for the film industry, for instance in Hollywood.

It's a mix of acrylics and water colour, the original size ist roughly 50 x 70 cm.

This is a WIP I've had lurking in my folders for a while now; a rework of an older piece that I wanted to refine when I improved my tools. It's not been touched in quite some time... almost a year, I think... but I decided to get back to it as I was in between pieces (finished a commission, but not due to start a new Ko-Fi Members' WIP until after Valentine's Day) and needed something to scratch my painting itch!
