This morning I've finished to transcribe the #Comal 3.40 manual for #Amiga (originally provided as a plain text file) using #TriliumNotes .

As soon as I've finished with the internal links I will share it as downloadable:

I'll put it on my website and on @itchio .
Only basic HTML to allow #Amigans to browse it from their machines.

Comal is really nice, fully expandeble and filled with modern features for the time.

I can't understand how it is possible that I missed this language so advanced for the time.
I'm rewriting the manual to share it in HTML format (and also to understand this language in more depth), and from what I see it seems incredible for those times...

How is it possible that it has been almost forgotten? Or maybe it's just me who has never met this language on my path.

I've recently discovered a programming language for #Amiga (but also for other systems) called #COMAL / #UniCOMAL , from what I've understood there is also a version for #C64 !
Does anyone have an image of the floppy disks for Amiga? I would like to give it a try.
