I've successfully built the recent version of #VolksForth for the #Commodore64 and have created a #d64 #disk #image which also contains all relevant sources as text files (in SEQ format) so they can be loaded and compiled using the new INCLUDE word because VolksForth 3.9.x supports text files and clasic blk storage.
I've also included #vi65 which is a clone of the #vi editor for the C64 (and other #Commodore and #Atari #8bit machines). It comes in versions with 40, 53, 64 and 80 column support. I have provided all of them but recommend the 64 column version for various reasons.
(I'll upload the final image to csdb.dk once I'm happy with it)

I also decided to move Analysis in the page dedicated to my old programs. Analysis was a Windows 3.1 program I wrote between 1998-2002 and that could draw mathematical functions. It occurred to me that since Buxton Bytes, I've not really said much about what I'm up to as far as #demo stuff goes. Soooooo....
I have a screen in progress, which is more like a bunch of effects all in one screen. Yet again, it's all done in #STOS, but using my newly coded FrankenSTOS extension to produce some nice stuff that (so far) is all running at 50fps as it should!
Three or four months of learning how to code 68K assembly has obviously paid off! 🙃
Was considering releasing it for Nova in June, but not entirely sure I'll complete it for then. It'll be released when I'm fully happy with it, whenever that is!

It's been 40 years I waited for this, but I can finally say, using UltimaVM on top of RO makes #RISC_OS actually modern! None of these naugthy tests even makes RISC OS blink an eye (and with UltimaVM task Scheduler not even freeze the desktop while running)! 😍
