I looked for country of origin and thought it was Morroco but as the country of origin is essentially hidden by a code, I checked on line today and yes, it turns out there's a reason for code instead of country. They were from Israel. As I'm doing my best to boycott Israeli goods due to their genocidal actions in Gaza, it's annoying. So that's the last of those I'll be buying from Waitrose. I want upfront honesty from my food suppliers, and it's just downright dishonest when other goods have the actual name of the country of origin.
