#CulturalLearning

Educational tourism offers students a unique opportunity to learn outside traditional classrooms. By visiting historical sites, museums, and cultural landmarks, students gain firsthand experience that enhances their understanding of subjects. Educational tours foster curiosity, critical thinking, and cultural awareness, making learning engaging and impactful.

A beader & cultural sewing specialist Auntie, showing me one of her wonderful #RibbonSkirts. The #Indigenous #loons pattern fabric seen here is no longer sold anywhere.

She made the hat worn in this photo too.

New friends who I met at the ribbon skirt workshop today. Mom & daughter. They're from #Eritrea - in the Horn of #Africa region. They've been in Canada for 12 years. I kept the little one entertained & played catch the plushie with her, when her Mom was working on their matching yellow ribbon skirts. The little one liked my purple ribbon skirt layout 💜
