I think I need to figure out how to make these.

I don’t have great #luck with VTTs, but my rolls with RL math rocks are TERRIBLE. I had one Irish GM offer to mail #dice to me in Australia, and a Mexican GM advised—straight-faced, no less—I seek out a santero.

I feel my #DCCRPG sets would require something pretty elaborate, though.

I took the time this afternoon to move my dungeonbot code out of the #11ty project it was sitting in and now it has its own home: https://codeberg.org/b4ux1t3/dungeonbot

It's still not _quite_ prepared to redeploy (I haven't wired up the message handlers), but we're getting pretty close!

The nice thing about moving over to the templated bot code is that I actually learned how the hell to use the bot library. It handles E2E encrypted chats and even session tokens just fine as long as you set it up right, and the examples they give on the site just don't make that clear.

Getting set up for tonight's DCC RPG Road Crew game at the West Warwick Public Library - "Creeping Beauties of the Woods!" #DCC #DCCRPG #CreepingBeauties #CreepingBeautiesOfTheWoods #RoadCrew

I have been playing with #fonts for the front cover of Return of the Ripper, and I have found two that I really like.

The title text is set in GrandjeanPW. This one is inspired by the types of Philippe #Grandjean de Fouchy (1666–1714), a #French punchcutter and #type engraver.

The strapline is set in Dear Boss, a #typeface mimicing the handwriting in the "Dear Boss" letter received by #ScotlandYard in September 1888 and allegedly written by #JacktheRipper.

This is the front cover for an RPG book. Title says:

Return of the Ripper: an urban horror investigation adventure by Michael C. Davis.

Artwork is by Jeff Dee. It shows a woman arriving in a marketplace at dawn and stumbling across the body of a murder victim. The murdered woman lies at the bottom of an obelisk, which is carved with runes and hieroglyphs.

After a brief stay at my parents’ place I got my loot from the Dungeon Crawl Classics RPG Peril on the Purple Planet crowdfunding campaign. Looks good, and the slipcased hardcover Tomes of Adventure is probably beefy enough to stop a small caliber bullet.
