I'm a #digitalmedia researcher at Queensland University of Technology in #Brisbane, Australia. My current research focuses on #location, #privacy, #surveillance, #digitalgeographies, #digitalliteracy, and #digitalethics, but I have an abiding interest in #metaphor, #film and #literature, #contagion, #maps, and #digitalhumanities.

I am an associate professor of #GIScience at the School of #Geography, Geology and the Environment and research theme lead for cultural informatics at the Institute for Digital Culture of the University of #Leicester. I research and teach geographic #datascience using #rstats, #visualisation, #GeoAI, #GIS and #digitalgeographies.
