We did it! It tools us just over 6 hours to finish the 20 miles. Miles 15-17 I hit the wall.

But we persevered.

Miles 18-20 were easy breezy and the joy of finishing was well, overwhelming.

This morning we are hitting the trail and doing a 15 mile walk. The Bride and I will be walking an out and back through three metro parks in southeastern #Michigan. I am beyond pumped!

I am on PTO tomorrow so I can go camping with two friends in the cascades this weekend. Lows in the teens, highs in low 40s. Parking the vehicle ~20 miles from the nearest town, ~5 miles from the nearest paved road. Establish base camp and then do a 9 mile round trip hike with 2200 ft of elevation gain on the way up Saturday.
