Unfortunately there are "free speech", 💩 posting instances in the fediverse that don't give a 🤬 about tolerance, humanity, etc. I'm probably going to get more #dogpiling by posting this. I don't care. As much as those servers can exist, I have the right to defederate/nuke them from my server. It's the only way....😞

Even I, a cis white person have seen the dark side of the fediverse in recent days when a "parody" account of Kamala went on a 💩 posting tirade and I inadvertantly got involved leading to a sustained #dogpiling.

At the end of the day things like muting, and on the admin side, limiting or suspending instances should be a last resort.
