Nearby a footbridge crosses the river whilst a huge white rocky spire rises above the valley floor, with another in the distance facing it, catching the light.

Despite the rain, I drove to #Dovedale to at least do a bit of a walk. When I got there I realised I'd left my walking boots at home and it started to absolutely piss it down so turned around and went home, boooooo.
Still, it was a nice drive.
