Samsung Galaxy F17 officially launches on Flipkart!
Samsung India has launched the Galaxy F17 to the Indian market exclusively to Flipkart. This phone is a rebrand of the A17 and is a successor to the last year’s Galaxy F16. This phone brings some of the upgrades over the predecessor, and the infographics below show this phone and its features.
First of all, the F17 is only 0.75 cm thin, which makes this phone the first thin device from the F series. Alongside that, the display is an AMOLED display with the toughest Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. This is to make sure that your phone becomes durable.
The Galaxy F17 comes with three rear cameras, which are:
- 50 MP main camera with the Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) system,
- 5 MP ultra-wide angle camera, and
- 2 MP macro camera.
The phone promises that there will be no shaking in the camera during photography, which makes your photos much better than before. Whether it’s a nature shot or a portrait shot, your phone captures the photos in the clearest of the details.
As for the selfie camera, this phone equips a 13 MP front camera sensor, which makes your selfies look more clear.
The Galaxy F17 comes in two colors: Violet Pop and Neo Black. Choose one of the two colors that you like, and enjoy your Galaxy F17!
The Galaxy F17 also comes with the 128 GB of storage with either 4 GB of RAM, 6 GB, or 8 GB. The battery capacity is 5,000 mAh, and the charging is rated at 25 W, which means that your phone will charge in less time for more uptime.
The phone is also equipped with the resistance rating of IP54, which makes for water and dust resistance. Exynos 1330 is used as the System on a Chip (SoC) on the phone, as it’s an in-house Samsung chip, to guarantee performance.
The 6.7″ Super AMOLED screen comes with the refresh rate of 90 hertz, which means that you can enjoy smoother transitions while also enjoying the color vibrancy and black accuracy. The phone uses One UI 7 as the base operating system, with One UI 8 being the first update out of the six generations of OS upgrades.
The Galaxy F17 is priced at ₹14,499 and ₹15,999.

Samsung Galaxy F17 box contents revealed!
Samsung Galaxy F17 will be released to Indian markets soon, but there has been some leaked information about the box contents. Apparently, the Galaxy F17 units have already reached the third-party retailers in India, and the box contents are finally revealed to us.
A post made by Mohammed Khatri said that the box of the Galaxy F17 is thin, and that it’ll most likely omit the charging brick, which means that users will have to purchase a separate charging brick for the phone. Pictures now show the device box and the device itself.
So, as you can see, the box is thin, and the Galaxy F17 design matches the leaked designs that we saw earlier. Additionally, the back of the box clarifies that the following contents will be in the device box:
- The Galaxy F17 phone
- Data cable
- Ejection pin
- Manual
The box also says that the device dimensions is 16.44 centimeters high, 7.79 centimeters wide, and 0.75 centimeters deep. The MRP price of the device, including all local taxes, is priced at 16,499.00 rupees. The model number of the device is SM-E176B, and the charging brick is not included in the box as the box said that the travel adapter is sold separately.
Additionally, the Geekbench score of the device in the same post was 975 for the single-core score and 2242 for the multi-core score, while the device was at build E176BXXU1AYG9.
The Galaxy F17 features an AMOLED display with the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for added durability and for color accuracy and smoothness. Additionally, the device uses the triple-camera setup, with 50 MP + 5 MP + 2 MP camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) system.
