Il faut pas hésiter à passer par une application #OpenSource, par exemple sur #FDroid. Personnellement j’ai toujours complété avec d’autres modèles météorologiques.

Today I learned that:
• F-Droid faced controversy in October 2025 when it was revealed that the Open Technology Fund (OTF), a U.S. government-funded organization, provided financial support to F-Droid. By the way, OTF is an organization that supports global internet freedom, particularly in regions with censorship and surveillance.
• And apparently there was a policy change of F-Droid before, that labeled app related to religious texts like the Bible and Quran as NSFW (Not Safe for Work). They made changes to that policy later after community backlash though.

I'm on my Android. And I can't download any apps on my F-Droid client which is F-Droid Basic. I remember trying to update some app yesterday and I couldn't do that either. So, I just now installed F-Droid and it works. Why is F-Droid Basic having this problem and how to fix it? Any ideas or suggestions?

@hawof hab zwar kein Linux, aber ein alternatives OS auf einem Pixel-Gerät, #grapheneos . Apps kommen meist aus dem #fdroidstore und da gibt's einige und alle sind #opensource . Ich will kein #androidos mehr!

I think F-droid app is best front-end because it have very stable so I will use original f-droid client.Other client have very skill but it have stabilty problem.I hope other clients solve stabilty problem.

@raven Interesting, is lack of contrast for the UI elements a problem of my custom phone theme or there is a common problem for all users?

Hier, j'ai eu l'opportunité d'aider un ami à réutiliser une vieille tablette Samsung de 2014 qu'il a trouvée chez un client vacant. L'OS était Android 4.4.2 et il ne voulait pas de compte Google pour aller sur Youtube.
J'ai finalement trouvé #fdroid et le #fdroidstore dont beaucoup d'applications ont encore des versions compatibles avec les vieilles versions d'Android. Nice!
Aussi, je crois que j'ai monté un niveau sur #adb 😏🤪🤣

It's all I needed. It's stable, good looking and well built. It's got a simple, distraction-free interface, but it's packet with advanced features like tags for different workflows, individual time interval settings for each tag, time tracking statistics with very satisfying graphics.
