1. Conceptul de vampirism este în mare parte de origine slavă, cu alte influențe europene și vest-asiatice.

2. „Dracula” este de fapt o invenție în mare parte slavă, așa că autorul care a scris romanul a fost inspirat de originile sale slave, dar autorul însuși nu este slav (era irlandez). Prin urmare, ar fi înșelător să se afirme că romanul „Dracula” este pur slav (sau român). Dar s-ar putea spune că rădăcinile sale sunt în primul rând slave.

3. În ciuda unui anumit lider istoric care poartă acest nume și a popularității sale în alte țări, „Vlad” este în principal un nume cu rădăcini slave.
