The Blade Itself by Joe Abercrombie

It's a solid set up novel for the first trilogy, with Logen, Glokta and Jezal as morally grey characters, who for the most part are interesting to read. Personally, with this style of story, I needed more plot to get fully immersed.

Since a young age, Nicolas “Niko” Grigg showed a cocky attitude and disrespect for authority. Aged 17, Niko was jailed for arson and imprisoned in Hellgate, Sulphuria’s maximum security prison.
He was released for false accusations not long after.
Once free he was trained by the dhampir Artemis Vespershade to the profession of Benandante, a spell-casting monster hunter.

Recently got a decent camera! Previously taking photos with my phone, now I'm sporting a used Nikon D3200 I got on the cheap! So I thought I'd practice with taking some photos of old minis that needed to be retaken and added on here.

Here's my Mordheim Mootlanders! Missing one Thief with a broken spear, I've run this band in a LGS campaign, NEMO25, and won Ratsink! a Mordheim event at Adepticon last year with em. I'll be pulling them out again for this year's LGS campaign with a fun new Ogre I'll be painting up for 'em.

More photos to come as a catch up on my backlog with this camera, and hopefully improve my lightbox.
