Fallout 3 bathroom items.

Sculpted at 1:56 scale from epoxy putty and then cast up as kits to sell.

Based on what you can find in Fallout 3.
The toilet in particular was much more difficult to sculpt than you might expect.

These are example pieces that I painted up with a spare skeleton for flavour.

Created as part of my experiments with casting model kits, these boxes were designed to be versatile.

Allowing the creative builder to make their own unique scatter terrain pieces.

The four types of simple wooden box from my box kits.
Top left: Half height box
Top right; Small box
Bottom left: Full height box
Bottom right: big box with cross bracing.

Collection of example boxes built from my kits.
Some are open with contents added.
One is sprouting tentacles.
And a pair of boxes, side by side, made from a single box kit by omitting the bottom and rear of both.

My box kits as the come from casting.
Even my sprues have wood texture so they can be used in models.

Wooden hut, the chemist's den.

Made from mis-casts of my own wooden hut model kit.

An example of what could be done with some imagination and the "blank canvas" of my hut kit; additions and modifications to the structure, plus a story to fill the interior.

Something chemical was going on here, until it wasn't...

To fill the interior of this example build of my hut kit I created a diorama of sorts.

Someone has been busy cooking up something in bathtubs (also my casts) and pumping it into a storage tank.

But things did not go well and the tank ruptured and blew out the side of the hut.

Closer looks at the structure of the hut kit example build.

The wall panels are interchangable and invertable, as are the posts inside. This was a design choice to avoid repetition in the wall surface.

The doorway and window can also be placed anywhere around the wall of the hut.

In addition to the modifications to my hut kit, I also scratchbuilt a rooftop lookout.

Bits of sprue for the frame and some textured plasticard.

Will fit a 40mm base and gives good cover for your average 28mm scale miniature.

And it's removable.
