One fun thing of mastering a new language and culture is to learn the subtle things. For example today I learned that Osnabrück is still in the Moin zone. I didn’t expect that #german #germanlearning
This is something I always find difficult with German. "gleich" can mean "equal", "the same as" or even "like" as in "I have one like this". This explains it brilliantly: https://yourdailygerman.com/meaning-gleich/
poor german learners , which have to remember the stupid gender of every german noun to choose the correct article. while in #English its just "the"
thanks good there are apps (der die das) and websites to teach you

I'm learning #German. Do you think #superduolingo is worth buying?
Note that I already have German friends and coworkers. If I ask them to talk with me in German for like 10 minutes, they probably will agree to help me a bit.
Also I'm a tech guy. I can use some Speech Recognition engine to practice pronounciation.
I even might be able to use some ML model to tell me how close my pronounciation is to a native speaker.
But the thing Duolingo has, is that you can practice mistakes. And it already has a course. Unlike those geeky ways which I'm on my own.
Boosts appreciated to get more opinions and/or comments.
Edit: The price for one year of super duolingo costs more than one year of German classes in my city.

Update: be kind, seeing your answers I understand I was wrong and got so thrilled to try that I ended up with an encouraging 2nd start using what I had.
1 - looking too much like a B still
2 - it's something. My handwriting is always dramatic, perfect fit.
Words included
Schießen: tirer, shoot
Zeitluße: délais, résultats; final time, conclusion
Ersießen: couler, verser; poor (out), drain

Anyone familiar with German can tell me if I'm writing the ß alright compared to my handwriting (maybe there are mistakes I don't know I'll check out later)

I admit Duolingo helped me a lot in casual learning German. However, it was not as good when I tried learning Arabic. Perhaps my Arabic was too advanced for Duolingo.

German language course in Hyderabad
As a working professional, I appreciate the flexible scheduling options for the German course at Henry Harvin in Hyderabad. It's made learning a new language convenient and enjoyable.

My immediate translation in my head was
"We definitely weren't talking about you."
However that wasn't an option with the bubbles. Would that have been wrong? Or would that have been "Wir haben ganz bestimmt nicht über dich geredet"?

I was tripped up with Elf and Zwolf at the weekend trying to pay for a coffee (processing those numbers more slowly than others). It turns out both are the last numerical remnants of the duodecimal number system (Base 12).

Just ran across the German word “autositzverschwitzt” - sweaty from the car seat? Such a good word! #GermanLearning
