1/4 I’m always on the lookout for small, low-pressure projects and since next year is the Year of the Horse (and I LOVE Kelpies and in a way they are horses) I’ve decided it’s officially going to be a great year. And I want to do something silly, as I said.

What no one knew was that horses keep secrets. They carry them patiently, but in return, they demand a payment. Confessions, scrubbed into their hooves. Minor crimes. Major prophecies. Whispert in the dark of the staple.
By dawn, the hooves gleame. The confessors feel lighter. The horse carried one more weight.
And that’s how everyone learned: a horse with clean hooves has secrets.

On my wedding photography workshops I teach other photographers to step out of their mind blocks and get creative with what is available at the given time and location. We walk around the neighbourhood and use colours and pattern, lights and shadows of e.g. underground car parks, house niches, side roads, bushes and more to carve an epic shot out of a most uninspiring venue.
