Good evening everyone ✨ I am glad to report that Ziggy is home. She is very tired and so hungry she almost ate the chrome off the spoon I gave her the meds on, but she's breathing okay and is her usual mischievous self🙂
We now have her on a third medication, which is the one to clear the fluid in her lungs. I spoke to the vet about the issues we had with giving Zigs meds in the morning. She said, whatever you need to give her to get the medication into her - even a tiny bit of toast if needs be - is fine. So we'll see how it goes tomorrow.
We're hoping the crisis is over for now, but we have the vets available up till Xmas day if we need them and an emergency number for when they are closed.
Ziggy and I thank you all for your kindness and well wishes. We both appreciate it very much ❤️
Good evening everyone ✨ I'm late today, because, unfortunately we had to rush Ziggy to the vet this morning for an emergency appointment as she was having difficulty breathing.
Good news is that she's okay. She's still at the vet and will be staying overnight in a cozy incubator with added oxygen. She has had X-rays and blood taken. The X-rays show she has congestion in her wee lungs, which is causing some stress on her heart again. She's been given an intravenous jab to try and clear that up and looks to be on more meds from now on. We'll find out about that tomorrow when we pick her up.
So, all plans for today went right out the window, but hopefully back to normal tomorrow.

I worked a bit more on my puzzle before I went to bed... Slowly, the top of it is coming together nicely.
I don't know how much I can puzzle this night/day, as I have a busy day ahead. But it would be awesome if I could finish the sky area...
After that, I want to start with the plain snow area in the bottom right direction of the puzzle. That's a lot of "almost the same color". But I tried to sort out the main pieces already, so then the sky is done, I can lay out as much of those pieces and then start to find bits that fit from the corners, inward to the mountains and trees.
The mountains and trees I want to do last. That's the biggest bin I sorted, and I need to sort that better once the other pieces have been used.
It's a great puzzle! 😁 It's challenging, for me at least. I've made a 1500-pieces puzzle before, but that was many years ago and I did that with the hex. (also the reason I didn't puzzle for quite some time, memories and all that... 😔). I already wonder what my next puzzle will be... And if I should try to frame this one as well...
I still need a good frame for the Wolfmoon puzzle, but I need money for that first. 😇

Me neither, but I had a full day. My main PC needs a power supply, but even in the city I can't find one, so while I wait, I'm rebuilding an older PC, so I don't have to type with one finger.

I've already had a whole new encounter with her that I've never done before, and all because of a different choice she made that would have shocked my goody two shoes sorcereress ☺️

Good evening everyone. Just quickly popping in to wish you all a good night/ morning since I wasn't able to do so this morning. I was still having some technical issues (looks like it might have something to do with my app now) and was dealing with Jadie not eating the last couple of days. We think the beak trim may have been too aggressive as we noticed she wasn't eating any pellets and yesterday morning her poop was bright green, which is a sure sign that she wasn't getting any food in. The problem with Jadie is that she is so fussy that trying to find something that she would take as a replacement was a struggle.
Eventually I managed to get her to take some baby food on a spoon with a pinch of Guardian Angel in it. She was happy to eat grapes and a couple of soft pistachio nuts yesterday so at least we got some food in her. This morning she took more Guardian Angel baby food and fruit and we were able to coax her back to her bowl with some moist Fruit Feast egg food we rolled into little balls. And tonight she was happy to try eating a pellet or two again, so I'm glad to say we are getting back to normal after a couple of anxious days 😊

Good morning #Fediverse friends. How was y’all’s weekend? I didn’t do much, which was great. Just had a nice, relaxing time. Kinda singed off.
Do we have any good plans for the day? I’m just going to be doing the usual work thing. Gonna work on my new project also.
Phew. Got home about half an hour ago from visiting family in NYC. Lots of driving.
But, it was good to see the new baby and introduce my kids to their newest cousin.
