Russia’s sabotage campaign is becoming bolder.

In recent years Poland has become accustomed to provocations linked to Russia: railway sabotage, arson plots and drone incursions.

The latest shots in this so-called hybrid war were fired on 29 December, when cyber-attacks hit 30 energy facilities, nearly causing a major blackout just as temperatures plummeted.

The hacks suggest the FSB is involved.

A beautiful commentary on the attempted assassination of #GRU general Alexeyev:

Just think how difficult it is to be a Z-patriot. Since 2015, they have been mourning the “hero of the Russian Spring”, Alexey Mozgovoy. Since yesterday, we should be concerned about General Alexeyev, who gave the order to liquidate Mozgovoy. And he was liquidated by Prigozhin’s “Wagnerites”, who should also be remembered with respect.

As they say, “the history of Russia is highly unpredictable”.

Mozgovoy was killed in an attack by “unknown perpetrators”, then officially blamed on “Ukrainian saboteurs”, but everyone knew he was killed as part of in-fighting, on the orders of the very general Alexeev.

But even more absurd was the story of the liquidation of Alexander Bednov, aka “Batman”, who was shot “during his arrest by the DNR prosecutor’s office”, but the statement on this matter was only published on the DNR website and never reached the English-language sewage outlets doing PR for the DNR/LNR, such as Sputnik or blogs like Moon of Alabama.

So, they published very angry statements about the ‘terrorist attack on the DNR hero’, and I had a lot of fun posting the statement from the ‘DNR prosecutor’s office’ because they had to change their entire narrative by 180° in the blink of an eye 😄
