Calling it a "#LinuxSubsystemForWindows" makes more sense since it's basically a #Subsystem to run #Linux as a #Guest on top of a #Windows #Desktop OS.
It literally uses the same #GuestAddition drivers as #HyperV does as it literally requires it.
So yeah "#WSL" aka. "#WindowsSubsystemForLinux" which against the logic isn't #Proton / #DXVK + #Wine is alyo not available on #HomeEdition|s / #Basic Versions of #Winfows10 & #Windows11...
