I read that the IR webcam that's on my laptop would support the open-source `#howdy` tool for facial recognition; as to ease login but also to quickly authenticate for `#sudo`.

So, smile! as I type `sudo rm -fr --no-preserve-root /`

(Anything somewhat useful is really often just freaking potentially dangerous. Well, we knew that already didn't we.)

Upon further investigations I unintentionally set up #Howdy to work with the regular video camera and not the IR sensor/blaster. I have since rectified the situation, with the help of the ‘linux-enable-ir-emitter’ utility.

If you use #bitwarden on #linux, biometric unlock is available now! I've only been able to get it working on #firefox based browsers, but I think it's supposed to work with #chromium browsers too.

If you have something like #fprintd or #howdy set up, it's probably as simple as checking a couple boxes.

In We Happy Few, some players struggled with stealth sections, as simply forgetting to wave back at NPCs would slowly raise their suspicion until they began a fight.
