Haim Announce Fall ‘I Quit’ Tour
I just quit my job.
I couldn't stay. It would eventually kill me, literally.
This is one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make.
I have a family. We can get through the next few months but after that is undefined.
I'm trying to play my cards right so Subjam gets the attention and boost it deserves. It's all I want to do.
I want to help people.
I am confident.

[Wandzeichnung mit Augen für 'Wände sind Windows']
[1/3 - Vorbereitung]
Für den Raum "Wände sind Windows" der Klasse Neukamp im Rahmen der diesjährigen Jahresausstellung der HfBK Dresden habe ich eine Wandarbeit umgesetzt, die durch eine großformatige Zeichnung von Robin Goldbach komplettiert wurde.
Zur Vorbereitung habe ich mittels Projektion die Positionierung unterschiedlicher Zeichnungsfragmente an der Wand erprobt. [Varianten gestapelt auf Slide 2]
Die Entscheidung fiel auf einen Ausschnitt mit dem wiederkehrenden Motiv von müden oder erschöpften Augen, welche in den Raum zurück schauen. [Referenzzeichnung auf Slide 3, vgl. Post von 25.06.2023]
Als letzter Schritt der Vorbereitung erfolgte ein Finetuning von Bildausschnitt, Positionierung und Dimension der Arbeit auf der Wand. [drei Zustandsskizzen auf Slide 4]

Ich habe gerade mein Homeoffice in der Firma abgegeben. Bin total erleichtert, dass ständiger Zeitdruck, Terminquote, telefonische sexuelle Belästigung & sich sonntags um 22 Uhr anschreien lassen nicht mehr zu meinem Alltag gehört.
Aber ich werde meine Kollegen vermissen 🥹❤️

I used to be super judgmental of folks who would joke about winning the lottery and quitting their job with no notice. But nowadays I think I’d do just that. And with little remorse.
As a consolation I think I’d send my immediate teammates a few grand each as a sort of “sorry my quitting made things slightly more difficult for you” breakup prize.
I’m not sure if this is growth or regression? 😂
