#VictoriaBC area!
I'm going to this event.

[ CALLING ALL #COVIDCAUTIOUS #CRAFTERS…. Again!!!

We will have someone teaching #knitting for beginners and if you’re already a pro bring whatever #crafty project you’re working on and chat with some new pals!

This event is a collaboration between #Mask4MaskVictoria and our community group.

Event Details
What: A #FREEevent to learn how to knit or work on a current project!
Where: Redfern Park (Leighton Rd, Victoria, BC V8R4W7 - near save on foods)
When: Sunday, September 15 from 2-4pm

We will be providing some needles and yarn for the people learning but if you have some extras to spare please bring them!

#CovidSafety :

✨ Please wear a Kn95/94 mask or better (I will provide a mask if you don’t have one!)
✨ Test before you arrive at the park
✨ This event is for people who take
everyday covid precautions and mask in public
✨ Remember to bring water but respect people’s space when removing your mask to drink 💦

This a very casual event so if you want to stay for just 10 minutes and check out the vibes or all 2 hours it’s up to you!

If you have any questions, suggestions or would even like to help me plan events in the future don’t hesitate to reach out!!]

I must say: as an autistic person I love when conferences are adding a communication abilities color scheme to conference badges. Really helpful to relieve social anxiety created by this kind of event, even as a speaker. @a11yclub@twitter.com
