Taught Zeran vs. AOL today and set a timer on loop to go off every 2 minutes. It was annoying, which was the point!

Context: Zeran vs. AOL was a landmark Section 230 case. Zeran claimed to receive tons of hate calls, due to an anon user’s AOL posts falsely linking Zeran to offensive merchandise, w/call frequency peaking at 1 call every 2 min.

The big Q the court had to decide was whether S230 protected AOL from liability. Spoiler alert: They said yes!
