I remember the 2003 invasion of Iraq. The US lied, they said there was evidence of weapons of mass destruction, there was never any evidence.
US president then was George W Bush, warmonger and puppet of the oil+military industries, who probably falsified the elections to win. And in the "coalition" was also UK's Tony Blair, a sick piece of shit politician. Actually remarkably similar to Trump and Starmer.
Countries all around the world had massive demos against the war, more than I'd ever seen before, but could not stop the destruction.
Saddam Hussein, Iraq's dictator, was originally supported by the CIA. As long as he kept supplying oil and fighting Iran, he was a US ally, after that he had to go.
The UN never supported the invasion of Iraq, the US doesn't care about that. Any ideas about "rules based international democracy" are fantasy.
