I picked up a #powkiddy #x55 retro gaming handheld last month but returned it shortly after - it had an issue where it just stopped booting. But I loved it, so I bought another last week.

Interestingly, the first one arrived with the #JELOS system, while the second one came with the older #emuelec system. I must have got some aged stock or something the second time around.

Emuelec is quick to boot and pretty straight forward. I like it. It just doesn't have #Moonlight streaming built in.

Where is #JELOS? All the releases have disappeared of their GitHub and no-one has seemed to of noticed. I know the yare dropping support for a lot of devices but where are all the releases up to know? Makes no sense.

I love #JELOS and the people who make it -- no amount of words could do them justice -- but isn't there a way to communicate "We have a bug in wxwidgets right now that causes cemu and pcsx2 to fail to start right away until you move a mouse, or touch the display," without having to join a Discord server? Pretty please?

I see there was another JELOS update yesterday, 20240121, for all devices. Woot! Under the Change Log, there is "Fixes a long standing issue with RK3566 devices causing drain after being charged while devices are powered off." So no longer coming back to the RGB30 after a few days of non-use and seeing it's nearly dead? That will be awesome!

Sincere thanks to the developers of JELOS for all their hard work.

One question: I've purchased some #pico8 games that are only in bundled form (no cart). Is there a way to load those onto the console?

Found it out myself: It's possible to access retro arch options by pressing x + select and then choosing crop borders. Even when scaling to fullscreen ignoring aspect ratio it looks fine enough to me. #rgb30 #jelos

I tried to figure out how to turn off native #c64 borders within #jelos #vice. Desktop vice had this option. It's not always a good idea to use this - some programs use the borders - but I'd they are not used it should make the visible screen larger which is especially useful for devices with small screens like #rgb30. Does anyone here know how to achieve within jelos and can help me out with this?

New toy to test: #PowkiddyX55 with #JELOS

@siquis #TIC80 has similar objectives to #PICO8. The great thing about TIC-80 is that the official version is fully Open Source. As yet, it's not quite as popular as Pico-8.

Huh interest, so #jelos has support for #ayaneo devices, especially the air and air pro. #Batocera has been absolutely fantastic but I couldn't for the life of me boot it off an SD card while I can with JelOS
