I am getting ready for the #NewYear by adding more #jank to my life. With #dram prices getting astronomical, I picked up a so-dimm to pc dimm adapters so I can move some ram around and utilize some so-dimm ram that was collecting dust.

1) Replaced Windows Minecraft machine 16 gig ram to identical so-dimm ram
2) Will replace media server running 8 gigs ram with the 16 gig ram removed from the Windows pc.
3) That will leave me with two 4gig DDR4 sticks to use for testing or what not if there are no future issues.

Thanks to all who replied. I think in the end I'll re-dabble in #Clojure with the aim to eventually "migrate" to #jank. Jank uses "cling" under-the-hood as a C++ JIT/REPL thing and I used to use it with ROOT when I was doing particle physics!

My online #banking is sooo stupid. About 6 months ago they revamped it. This meant they re-set the marker on which statements you had and hadn't seen yet, so suddenly I have 150+ unread documents.

Is there any way to mark a document as 'read', individually or en-mass? No.

Yes, click on it, to download it. So I've just downloaded over a hundred documents, which I will instantly delete (because I already have them), as that's the only way to know in the future if I have an real new and unread documents.

I find getting the drawer down from the top, or sometimes sending it away again - is just half broken.

I often have to go back to the homescreen to bring it down.

It might just be weirdness with the Sony Xperia 10 V I've got. But otherwise most things work fine on this phone.

Home #DIY #Jank; 20 year old mixer tap suffered a failure over the weekend, and all the new ones have a subtle design difference - old one the top swivels left / right for hot / cold, and has an up / down lever for pressure. Only the lever moves up and down. All the new ones tilt the entire taphead back and there isn't enough clearance to the splashback, so two kitchen walls have to be stripped back and a thinner material used.

In the meantime; extension pipes and #Disability bidet nozzles.
