When you start out wanting to reduce your backlog and you end up adding a lot: https://framagit.org/linmobapps/linmobapps.frama.io/-/blob/master/apps-to-be-added.md
#LINMOBapps
Three of seven #LINMOBapps data overhaul issues are done! https://framagit.org/linmobapps/linmobapps.frama.io/-/issues?scope=all&state=all&milestone_title=%5Bapps.csv%5D%20Overhaul%20Q3%202021
Also, I have added three more apps! 🎉
Enough #LINMOBapps work done for today: https://framagit.org/linmobapps/linmobapps.frama.io/-/commit/071c519564a5cab0a1cfb204c21b8ef578fb47b3
Wishing I were faster with this and sorry for the "monster commit" approach.
Just building #Anki (https://github.com/ankitects/anki) from AUR on the #PinePhone again because of a question on Reddit. Thought this would be a quick thing, but they've reimplemented a bunch of things in #Rust.
At least I can update the Anki entry on #LINMOBapps/#LinuxPhoneApps afterwards.
The fifty-sixth edition of my weekly collection of news about #LinuxPhones (@PINE64 #PinePhone, @purism #Librem5 and such), #LinBits, is out!
https://linmob.net/linbits-55-weekly-linux-phone-news-week29-30/
#NemoMobile and #WayDroid progress further, #UBports plans for VoLTE, #LINMOBapps hits 300 apps and more!
300 apps are quite the number, but every added app also worsens the loadtime of #LINMOBapps. I hope to get a replacement in place before 350 apps are surpassed, and will post more about this in the coming days.
I'll definitely need help with some things - I hope to be able to outline this more next week.
The 300th app on https://LINMOBapps.frama.io is OTPClient (https://github.com/paolostivanin/OTPClient), which is just what its name suggests:
postmarketOS Backup (https://gitlab.com/postmarketOS/postmarketos-backup) is a WIP backup application for #postmarketOS by @martijnbraam.
Now listed on #LINMOBapps (https://linmobapps.frama.io)! #LinuxPhoneApps
This one should have been added long ago, but ..
Seahorse (https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/seahorse) is the @gnome password and encryption key manager, which fits the screen almost perfectly in it's 40 release. Now listed on https://linmobapps.frama.io! #LINMOBapps #LinuxPhoneApps #LinuxPhones
Image Roll (https://github.com/weclaw1/image-roll) is an adaptive Rust/GTK image viewer that allows for basic image editing (e.g. rotation). You can get it on Flathub or the AUR, and it is now listed on https://linmobapps.frama.io! #LINMOBapps #LinuxPhoneApps #Librem5 #PinePhone
Sol (https://invent.kde.org/maui/sol) is Maui's convergent web browser and now listed on https://linmobapps.frama.io #linmobapps #linuxphoneapps #linuxphones #pinephone #librem5
Just a small #LINMOBapps/#LinuxPhoneApps update:
(BTW: Make sure to join our Matrix group: https://matrix.to/#/#linuxphoneapps:matrix.org)
Pyrocast (https://github.com/jnetterf/pyrocast) is a WIP GTK/libhandy #podcast client written in #Rust. It's fast and has directory search. Sadly development seems to have stopped back in September, but we hope that it's not abandoned.
Now on https://linmobapps.frama.io! #LINMOBapps #LinuxPhoneApps #pinephone #librem5
I am really not sure whether adding freedesktop (sub-) categories to #LINMOBapps is worth it at all:
Agregore Browser (https://github.com/AgregoreWeb/agregore-browser) is a minimal Electron-based browser for the distributed web.
It's now listed on https://linmobapps.frama.io.
#LINMOBapps #LinuxPhoneApps
Rocket (https://git.sr.ht/~alva/rocket) is a WIP #GTK/#libhandy #Gemini client written in #Zig.
It's now listed on https://linmobapps.frama.io.
#LINMOBapps #LinuxPhoneApps
Fossil (https://github.com/koyuspace/fossil) is a #GTK #Gemini, #finger and #Gopher client written in #Vala.
The screenshots were taken after applying scale-to-fit.
It's listed on https://linmobapps.frama.io.
#LINMOBapps #LinuxPhoneApps
Moonlander (https://sr.ht/~admicos/moonlander/) is a #GTK #Gemini client written in #Rust.
The screenshots were taken after applying scale-to-fit.
It's listed on https://linmobapps.frama.io.
