On a path in a dense part of the woods a long thick branch lies such that it is blocking the easy way forward. The close end of the now dead trunk points to near the camera position, the end in the bushes, while the far end sits next to the tree it fell down from, several metres high up. It looks kind of fresh, as if the split has just been several days ago. The sky visible is pale and overcast.

An old tree trunk lies flat on a slighty parched meadow. The log is about large human sized but much thicker, from an old tree and visibly withered. It lies left to right without direct sunshine on it int he foreground, while in mid distance the wide open meadow is visibly basked in sunlight. On its far part of an old building is visible, hidden by the log and bushes. The sky is bright with clouds here and there.

The same log pictured in the preceding toot, now seen from the other side. We can see up the grassy slope to a glimpse of buildings and trees along the ringroad above. On this side, the log is an even more interesting (well, to me) shape with lots of bumps and stumps shooting off it.

We’re standing in sunshine in a park on a patch of nicely overgrown bright green park grass. It is nicely dotted with yellow dandelions and white dandelion clocks. Beyond, mature trees of different species and different shades of green. Through them, a glimpse of redbrick Aarhus University buildings. At a slight distance to the right: a stone pedestal with a dark green statue of a slim man in a thinking pose. Relaxing in the grass at our feet, lovelier than all of the trees put together: a huge thick log about (a guess) two metres long. It is dark brown and split into three separate log-branches at one end. There’s nothing to it, I just think it looks nice and strong, and when the world is chaotic, I like the fact that it is just there, solid, unaffected by any of our human nonsense.

Сделал для себя приятное открытие что гидравлический пресс, который я покупал для обжима силовых клемм для аккумуляторов отлично подходит и для обжима SMA разъёмов.

Из любопытства один SMA-F даже обжал в качестве эксперимента. Будет неловко если на плате, которая придёт в июне будет тоже SMA-F разъём и придётся его отрезать или отковыривать с кабеля...

One pile shrinks, the other pile grows.

I think it's almost halfway. You can see my red spraypaint markers on the origin pile. Glad we didn't buy the whole lot 😅

Done for today. Soaking wet and the yard is turning muddy after days of rain. Fired up the sauna. @vaviurka made a nice thick stew that tasted grandiose.

Origin pile of logs in the forest, stacked on some smaller logs. A trailer is laden with more logs. On the ground are two logs serving as cutting station. A very old, recently restored chainsaw rests amidst a pile of sawchips, yellow earmuffs on top. Everything is wet.

Destination pile. The logs are stacked the same way in the yard, in a growing pile outside the barn. A messy pile of short logs is behind, also growing in size. The chopping block and sawhorse are no longer visible behind the stack of logs. The trailer is empty, very wet and full with sawchips, dirt, small branches and several deported snails.
