Again, unfortunately, I go to use a feature that is apparently now supported in Safari/WebKit (and considered baseline on #MDN), only to discover that one of the features isnât implemented.
Todayâs example? The <dialog> element.
After messing around with it and wondering why clicking the backdrop wasnât closing it even though closedby="any" was set, I find the closedby attribute isnât implemented at all đ¶
Now I have to add some JS that shouldnât be needed.

You know, it would be nice if the #MDN put at the top of a webpage about a #CSS feature whether it has become a W3C Recommendation (i.e. a real standard) or not. The "baseline" and browser version bullshit doesn't really tell me whether that feature is safely cross-browser (CSS3-wise, which is currently not even half-way towards being a complete standard or Recommendation, so we're going to only count browsers that have implemented all current 7 CSS3 modules that have become standards) or not. For all a #webdev could damn know it could be from a working draft.
